Happy Valentine's Day?

Well, another Valentine’s Day has come and gone.  Did you have a good one?

This time was relatively good for me.  For I have been blessed beyond measure with a wife who loves me a lot more than I deserve to be, and it has been like that for the last 16 Valentine’s Days.

It was not always that way, however.  In fact, some of my most depressing times have come on Valentine's Day.

No, I would not want to revisit them, but those days actually served as good experience for the work that He would have me do.  For my primary calling is to help to introduce our Heavenly Father to all who do not really know Him, and the absolute truth of the matter truly is that every day is one full of unrequited love for the One who loves all of us more than we can even start to naturally comprehend.

Yes, our Heavenly Father rejoices over those who have wanted to truly have a very close and personal relationship with Him, but there are so, so many who do not.  Why?

No, this has nothing to do with how often you go to church, nor how often you read His Holy Bible.  Neither does this have anything to do with how often you pray to Him.  Well, not really.  For when most pray, they have no expectation of actually hearing our Heavenly Father answer, and what breaks His heart even more is that He has been talking to all of us since we were in the womb—even to those who have never bowed their heads in prayer.

Alas, when He told me years ago that the hardness of far too many hearts is exceeding great, I didn’t fully understand to what extent.  Now that I have a better understanding, I just want it to end.  Ah, but how can it end for our Heavenly Father as long as there are those who do not want to be His Valentine?
