GUTLESS EVILDOERS!!!

Link: [On YouTube]

If they really wanted to make a heroic stand, they should have held their trial and the execution of the verdict in [Kabul]. Better yet—[Mecca].

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.  Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’  Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’”

I think the Westboro folks could have gone about this a lot better. Messin' with the muslims is like kicking over a hornets nest. Even the militant atheists seem to have at least enough common sense to leave this demographic alone. What good is burning their book going to do anyhow, other than to make them more furious?

Westboro, instead of their insane funeral protests and sensational antics, should just raise up a group of missionaries who can spread the gospel with love throughout the middle east. The results would probably be a whole lot less murderous.

Thanks for stopping by again, my dear Lavender!!! Well, I suppose it doesn't matter. For they are hidden under many a rock. Come to think of it, this is actually a good thing. For it shows that their attitudes are not as isolated as most would like to believe. Anyway, the point that I am having such a hard time getting to is that this isn't even the Westboro gang at work. For this is an unassociated church out of Gainesboro, FL while the Westboro gang is out of Wichita, KS.

I have somewhat mixed feelings about this stunt by the so called "pastor." While he is definitely within his Constitutional rights do perpetrate such an act, in my mind it is a decidedly un-Christian thing to do.

On the other hand, the reaction of those of the supposedly peaceful religion of Islam sort of illustrates his point. Still, my former feeling is the predominant one in this case.

Thanks for stopping by, my dear Dickster!!! Yes, I do not dispute his constitutional right to pull a stunt like that, but when it puts other people in great danger, it should not be done.

On the other hand, it helped to make it even more clear that the hearts of that Florida congregation are not being led by the love of our Heavenly Father, which is why He let it take place. Hopefully, they will get the message before it is too late.
