On Your Side?

I suppose it may be a little late for this, but every time I see [Dale Earnhardt, Jr.] telling us that [Nationwide] serves their customer’s needs—not shareholder profits, I am reminded of just how well they did this in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. For instead of truly being on their customer’s side, they [fought in court] to stand on a technicality, which stipulated that flooding damage due to wind-driven water is not covered under many (if not all) of the Nationwide Insurance policies in effect at the time of the Hurricane Katrina.
