Please forgive me if you believe that I am being way too harsh, but if you heard what I did, I cannot see how it could be anything else. For who in their right-mind would make such claims with such a straight face?
Okay, it may just be a matter of demonic influence, but does it really make a difference? For I honestly believe that [Rev. Bell] honestly believes that he is telling the truth, and that is the most insidious of all of the devil’s tricks. Furthermore, there is just enough right mixed in to make nothing sound all that wrong.
Take what the good pastor says about what Christ Jesus really said about Hell for example. For it is true that He sometimes used the city dump outside of Jerusalem as a visual reference to what will happen to those who will not be welcome to enter into His Kingdom of Heaven, come Judgment Day, but it is not at all true that He was actually giving us a hint of there really not being such a place as Hell. For the wicked most certainly will be cast into the Lake of Fire, just like garbage is thrown into a dump [Matthew 7:15-23]; [Matthew 13:36-43]; [1 John 5:9-12]; [Revelation 20:11-15].
The next example is really something. For Rev. Bell says that Christ Jesus would have been thinking of what it should be like in this world when He talked about Heaven. So, does that mean that He might have had a little too much of the water that He had turned into wine when He said that His Kingdom was not of this world [John 18:36], and maybe was just having a really bad day when He told His disciples that He was sending them out into the world as sheep in the midst of wolves [Matthew 10:16]? What about when He told them that they would have tribulation in this world [John 16:33]?
Yes, it can all be twisted around to mean that times will be tough in this world until His righteousness is established, which naturally makes a lot of sense. On the other hand, if that is indeed true, then why is this world utterly destroyed in the end [2 Peter 3:10]—even after Christ Jesus’ thousand-year open reign over it [Revelation 20:1-21:27]?
Oh, and it was just pointed out to me that I neglected to included the very best example before. For it is written: “Do not suppose that I have come to bring peace to the earth. I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I have come to turn, ‘a man against his father, a daughter against her mother, a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law—a man’s enemies will be the members of his own household.’ Anyone who loves their father or mother more than me is not worthy of me; anyone who loves their son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me. Whoever does not take up their cross and follow me is not worthy of me. Whoever finds their life will lose it, and whoever loses their life for my sake will find it. [Matthew 10:34-39 NIV]
Oh, but the last part of the interview is where it gets truly insidious. For it is true that we are not called to make judgments about where someone will be spending eternity, and it is also true that even the strongest of faith’s does not keep us from suffering bouts of fear and doubt.
Nonetheless, the concept of whatever we may want to believe is the truth is okay is a blatant lie, and if you don’t think that is what Rev. Bell is really saying there at the end, please listen to what our Heavenly Father has to say about it. For it is written: But realize this, that in the last days difficult times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, revilers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy, unloving, irreconcilable, malicious gossips, without self-control, brutal, haters of good, treacherous, reckless, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, holding to a form of godliness, although they have denied its power; Avoid such men as these. For among them are those who enter into households and captivate weak women weighed down with sins, led on by various impulses, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. [2 Timothy 3:1-7 NAS]

Mr. Bell is totally off in his theology. thanks for bringing this to light and for offering a sound commentary on this controversy.
Thanks for the encouragement, my dear Lavender!!! I hope he comes to his senses before it is too late.
I do not believe everything Bell says, but...
Judge no one before it's time. Sometimes we are in danger of being whgat we say of others
when whe do not believe God in His Scripture and instead believe the traditions of men.
Those who do not believe in this life will be resurrected and judged at the time of the great white throne (Rev. 20:11-15). God will deal with them justly according to their deeds (Rom. 2:1-16). Then those whose names are not in the book of life will suffer the second death (Rev. 20:15). This, however, is not their final end, for they will be MADE ALIVE at the conclusion of the eons when Jesus Christ abolishes the LAST ENEMY WHICH IS DEATH (1 Cor. 15:25, 26). Then, they too will be justified (Rom. 5:18, 19), reconciled to God (Col. 1:13-20), and be made immortal (1 Cor. 15:22; Rom. 8:18-23; 2 Tim. 1:9-11). Then ALL will be subjected to God the Father and God will be ALL IN ALL (1 Cor. 15:27, 28).
Some believe and teach that Jesus Christ either cannot or will not save all. It is a source of sadness that so many who profess to know Him and to love Him should slander Him in this manner. Surely He does not lack the ability; He has already saved the chief of sinners (1 Tim. 1:15). Neither does He lack the love; "He died for all." What He has promised in His Word He will certainly do. "Faithful is the saying and worthy of all welcome (for for this are we toiling and being reproached), that we rely on the living God, Who is the Saviour of all mankind, especially of believers. THESE THINGS BE CHARGING AND TEACHING" (1 Tim. 4:9-11).

Yes, if this was just a matter of my own opinion, I would be guilty of making an unrighteous judgment, but there is not a doubt in my mind that it came directly from our Heavenly Father. Of course, it may very well be that I have been woefully deceived.
As in regards to Christ Jesus being able to save everyone, I believe that with all of my heart and mind, but what He has personally revealed to me is that there is a choice to be made. For only those who truly want to be one of His children by faith will be welcomed into His Kingdom of Heaven after their time as a part of this world comes to an end. Whereas, everyone else will be cast into the Lake of Fire, which is the second death.
Yes, Universalists claim that non-believers will be given more opportunities to believe after they physically die, but that would defeat the purpose of having to exist in this world as we naturally are. After all, who wouldn't want to spend all of eternity with our Heavenly Father in His Kingdom of Heaven as an heir to all that is His in glory after it becomes clear to them that the alternative is eternal damnation?
