Bob Larson's Lasses

[Bob Larson] has been a person of particular interest to me since the first time I listened to one of his syndicated radio shows back when I still on the truck years ago.  For he presents himself as being an anointed exorcist.

Yes, that would be enough to make my ears perk up, but wait—THERE’S MORE!  For he also gives paid demonstrations and sells books on how you can do this at home.

No, I do not believe that I am blowing things way out of proportion in order to gain attention.  The following video clip should help make that clear.

He's taking a very real situation - demonic possession - and exploiting it by changing for it, and using a ridiculous ploy of having young, attractive girls doing it. No different that a big-haired televangelist selling free grace on TV with a grin and southern charm.

Theologian Wayne Grudem did a series on angels, demons and possessions, and you can hear the excellent MP3's here. no gimmicks and splashing holy water required, but rather just calm, intentional prayer directing the evil spirit to leave. It's something that all saints in Christ can do, and shouldn't be so falsely sensationalized like this.

Oh, and obviously, he shouldn't be charging for this either (or exploiting this in a reality TV show)

P.S.: The thing that bothers me the most is about Bob Larson is that it is all fake, my dear RN. I can't remember where I read (or heard) it, but he even admitted in an interview that what he broadcasts are demonstrations for edification.

That's unfortunate, as demonic activity is VEY REAL, and very destructive.

Thanks for stopping by, my dear RN!!! It is indeed, and it is rarely as overt as Bob Larson depicts. In fact, the most dangerous of possessions occurs when no one has any idea that it is taking place.

P.S.: I should have wrote, "when no one from amongst us has any idea," my dear RN.
