Nice furtherance of the last post about Veterans day.... erm...
So, hopefully Fish there wasn't any spiritual leading telling you to link to that particular bit of hedonistic grossness (you're making me even more of a theological cessationist if that's the case...)
Nope, there was no linking to the Veteran's Day post meant. Neither was there meant to be any shot taken at you, except for thinking that you would surely turn up your nose in disgust long before you got to the last few seconds of the ad, which my wife and I both find hysterically funny.
What do you both find amusing about implied beastiality? If I heard God's voice speaking audibly to me, I'm sure he'd tell me to shun perversion like that...
It is meant as a joke, Lavender. Plain and simple, and He does have a great sense-of-humor, which is another thing that you are missing out of for the sake of your religious traditions.
And you see no inconsistency with a video full of reference to sex, violence, urination, vomiting, and beastiality... and 2 Corinthians 7:1 "Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God".
After all of the "stuff" you have been shoveling here, my dear Lavender, you can still go there? Yeah, I have to give it to you, you've got a set on you.
Oh I know I've covered a number of controversial things here, but seriously, Fish, has it ever been anything of a deliberately disgusting manner, such as a soft core porn featuring a drunken, vomiting squirrel?
Most of my posts are semi-genuine dissections of darwinism, vasectomies, Duggars, The FDA, smokers, Billy Joel, plastic surgery, etc. It's valid "stuff", and generally no stronger than a PG rating, wouldn't you say?
I'm just trying to push the envelope (I'm good at that) to get you to see if possibly you went a little bit far with this post...
This site is meant to present as many views as possible of what we may want to believe is the truth about a number of subjects. For the more closely we seek to examine such, the closer we can come to accepting what our Heavenly Father actually says is absolutely true. For He will be there to counter what is not right, and He truly is interested in every aspect of our daily lives. Ah, but who is so deaf as the one who does not want to hear?
No, this is not for just articles about the possibility of us truly being in the end times. For it has been personally revealed to me that every day in this world is one of tribulation. In fact, even what we would naturally consider to be the best of lives is absolutely miserable in comparison to the worst of lives in our Heavenly Father’s Kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, be assured that this is a place for articles on politics (both secular and religious), business practices, social issues, environmental concerns, as well as spiritual matters—not all from a strictly “Christian” perspective, neither.
If you would like to be a contributor, please drop me an email at FishHawk7@gmail.com. Reposting of articles that you have published elsewhere is permitted, and all rights to your own material will be retained by you. If you would like to publish something while remaining anonymous, just email it to me, and I will assign you an alias. For a small fee, I can even promise to keep your true identity a secret. (LOL?)
On the other hand, you could contribute just as much by leaving comments that will encourage further discussion, but please try to be civil. For a challenge can be made without getting ugly about it. Well, at least that is what I have heard.
